Determine the mass of the object below to the correct degree of precision.

    At the moment, the only object below is the larger of my two dogs.

    He was at the vet just 3 days ago, so I know his current weight.

    Knowing the acceleration of gravity in our house, I can easily

    use his weight to calculate his mass.

    Mass = (weight) / (acceleration)

    Mass = (578.3 newtons) / (9.8 newton/kilogram)

    Mass = 59 kilograms.

    (His little brother has only 43 kilograms of mass.)
