The correct answer is C. Stars are able to form from clouds of dust and gas because of the law of universal gravitation. The law of universal gravitation applies because of the fact that stars themselves are always made of hydrogen, which is a gas at first. However, in order to become dense gravity will always be needed, in order for the hydrogen atoms to be joined together.
