How many stars are there in the galaxy

    We do not know. People guess the number and estimate what it could be. There is just simply no way we could count them without being able to go to the edge of the galaxy. Also new stars are created and destroyed constantly.

    Between 200 billion and 400 billion is thought to be the most probably accurate current estimate.
