    Assuming it starts with a velocity of 0 m/s, it will slowly start to move at an increasing pace. Acceleration is a change in velocity over a change in time.

    If you plotted a distance vs time graph, it would be half of a parabola.

    Also, don't forget to mention that it is going backwards: it is a vector with magnitude and velocity.
