You decide to redo Galileo's inclined plane experiment. On the shelf in your pantry you find two cans of soup that are equal in size and weight. One is chicken broth and the other is cream of mushroom. You decide to use these for the experiment. You start both cans from rest at exactly the same location, but find that one can consistently rolls down the plane with a faster time. Explain what is going on. Which can is always faster and why? (You can, of course, try this experiment at home.)

The cream of mushroom will roll down faster.

    Explanation:

The important thing to notice about objects rolling down inclined planes, is that no matter the volume and mass, if both have the same volume and mass, the object that is more solid will be faster than the other one, in this matter, chiken broth compared to cream of mushroom is less dense, so the most dense liquid would roll faster and that would be the cream of mushroom.
