you have 5/12 or five twelthes left

    Explanation:

convert the fractions into out of twelve because 12 is the least common multiple between the two.

    friday - 3/12

    Answer: 7/12 of homework left

Explanation: you change both of the denominators to 12

    1/6 x2 is2/12

    1/4 x3 is 3/12

    Add them together

    3+2 = 5

So you have already done 5/12

    So 12 - 5 is 7

So you have 7/12 left to do
