Of means multiply and is means equals
5% * Number = 24% * 15.5
Change the percents to decimals
.05 N =.24*15.5
.05 N = 3.72
Divide each side by. 05
.05N/.05 = 3.72/.05
N = 74.4
The number is 74.4
