    Alice was of the opinion that they are not leaving England as a result of falling out of favour with the Monarchy but as a result of her husband, Sir Robert Dudley who felt that, his enemies has enough influence to preclude him from justice.

    This he believe, retiring abroad by leaving England would afford him the opportunity for time to lessen his misfortune.
