What is the central idea of this poem? a woman's life is filled with secrets that can never be discovered. legally and culturally, women must be treated with respect and should have equal opportunities. while walls and veils may appear to protect women, they deny women freedom and happiness. women are mysterious creatures that must be protected from harm?

    Women strive to be treated as equals and must be protected because of their endless and mysterious minds. Generally the theme of the poem which is "women must be treated with respect and should have equal opportunities" meaning that they don’t have to be treated as strange creatures but have equal standing with men.
