    The Ottoman Turks commit genocide against the Armenians.

    This is also called as the Armenian genocide which was a systematic extermination plan of the armenian population carried by the ottoman empire from 1894. The goal was to end the armenian presence within the limits of the ottoman empire, then state Turkish.

    As a result of this genocide, the armenian nation, which had 3 million inhabitants, is cut in half, the survivors being deported and expelled from their lands.
