The best answer to the question: Greek architecture:___, would be, C: was dominated by the Doric, Ionic and Corinthian columnar styles.

    Explanation:

The architectural styles that were used by the Greeks, especially when building their famous temples, and official buildings, have always been admired, even after centuries, especially for their simple beauty and most of all for the magnificence of the columns they built. Starting from the Archaic period of ancient Greece, the first style of columnar building that the Greeks uses was known as Doric, and it was characterized by the simplicity with which the columns were built, without a base, and without any markings on the top of the column. After the Doric period, came the Ionic, and in this case the capital, which was the name of the top of the column, was adorned now and bases appeared. Then, the last stage was the Corinthian style, and this one was the one Romans also adapted to their buildings. In this final style Greek columns became famous for the ornate adornments at the top of the columns, with the appearance of leaf decorations and also small scrolls.
