A teacher encourages a 10-year-old boy to play with his fellow students in school, but he is unable to make friends.     Answer: feeling of inferiority and inadequacy

    Explanation:

    This causes a child to have a low self esteem because they don't feel capable of doing certain things, they feel others are way better than they are which make them retreat to a corner and unable to socialize.

    The child can believe that they are also capable to do well in their school work hence they do poor because they can't even try since they feel they don't even meet those standards that are needed to do well.
