Emily Jordan Bear is an American composer and pianist who have received notice at a very early age.

She started early when she was a small child; Bear has played her own compositions and other artists' compositions with orchestras and ensembles in North America, Europe and Asia in different venues just like Carnegie Hall, the Hollywood Bowl and the Montreux Jazz Festival.

As a young artist she has already won two Morton Gould Young Composer Awards and was the youngest person ever to win the said award. Added to those awards, she also also won two Herb Alpert Young Jazz Composers Awards.
