    A state

    Explanation:

Since Jakob is said to be mild-mannered on a norm, his aggressiveness will be considered a state. Also considering the fact that he has stood in the line for hours, then getting to his turn he is asked to go back, it would be common for Jakob to get aggressive since his time was wasted.

The correct answer is : State.

    Explanation:

A trait, is a characteristic from the individuals personality that is present in several areas of the persons life. For example, Andy has the trait of aggressiveness, because in his daily life he tends to exhibit aggressive behavior, a lot of the time he answers with anger, and he is impulsive.

A state, on the other hand, is temporal. A person could be normally mild-mannered and have an sporadic fit of anger.

In this particular case, Jakob's anger is not a trait, but a state.
