Timothy, a cashier, is given a twenty-dollar bill at his store. He is suspicious of the customer and wants to make sure the currency is real. Which would be a clue that the currency is counterfeit?

    He could see if its made of cotton or paper (real money is made of cotton), or see if the serial number looks kind of odd

    There is no color change on the bill. There should also be watermarks on the bill along with a security thread in all bills over a $5 note.
