Why did skinner and watson ignore the role of cognitive and brain processes in learning?

    Skinner and Watson ignored the role of cognitive and brain processes in learning because they could not be observed. They also had the belief that all learning was a function of either classical conditioning or operant conditioning, which come from the outside of the environment.
