Privacy is the state of being free from public attention. The 4th Amendment to the United States Constitution was added as part of the Bill of Rights on December 15, 1791. It deals with protecting people from the searching of their homes and private property without properly executed search warrants. The exclusionary rule states that if evidence is collected in violation of the person's rights, then it can not be used in court. This case changed the search and seizure in our court system by giving rights to the citizens.
