Most of the books in the old testament talk about God's dealings and care for his people

    Explanation:

From the first book of the Bible, Genesis, it shows how God started to care for the first ancestors of the Israelites (Abraham, Isaac, Jacob). Exodus narrates the events of how God liberated his people from Egypt. Numbers and Deuteronomy talk about the events during the 40 years that the Israelites were in the wilderness. Then, starting with the book of Joshua we see the events after the Israelites were settled in the promised land. The books of Kings and Chronicles have a detailed narration of the years when the Israelities had kings to rule over them. Even the poetic books (Job, Psalms, Proverbs, Ecclesiastes and Song of Solomon) talk about God's ways of saving his people in the form of poems or sons, specially the book of Psalms. The prophetic books (from Isaiah to Malachi) narrate and foretell events when God both punished and saved his people.
