This proverb can be understood in terms of mental make-up of person attempting to do something good but in turn is rewarded with bad happenings. This can be often occasional or as a prelude to the bad consequences of his/her action.

    Explanation:

"The Road ... good intentions" refers to a proverb in English with sadistic origins. The meaning can be attributed to various group of peoples who have a different interpretation of the proverb.

According to one group, the prevailing notion that it is fruitful to mean well. It debunks such notions and categorically terms that good intentions must be supplemented by good actions. Many people always think of doing good but owing to their laziness and casual attitude they fail to act in times of need and thus don't follow through.

However, another group of people are of the view that doing something good to anyone is followed by bad consequences. For instance "Kudzu" is a beautiful vine of the Asian subcontinent. For its anti-erosive, shady, and use as cattle fodder, nature was introduced in the USA.
