    The stamp act made colonist pay for tax but they mainly started riots even though they could be killed for not following the stamp act. I'm not 100% sure, but I would go with C.

    They made people pay for British stamps for every official document they obtained they repealed the stamp act in 1776 but also put another act as replacement.
