Mr. Green has a month-to-month lease for an apartment owned by Mr. Blue. The lease between Mr. Green and Mr. Blue is oral.     Statute of Frauds also known as "SOF" under the law, requires that certain contracts be writing such as the lease agreement. Mr green Should have executed the agreement in writing as an evidence that Mr blue has agreed to lease the apartment to him. On this note the court due to the statute of frauds will not recognize or enforce the lease because there is no form of agreement.
