How cultural factors can affect my views about death and dying

    Cultural factors can for example increase the fear of death or decrease it: if the religion presents afterlife as something desirable (such as heaven) then the fear of death will likely decrease. If the religion's view of death is something inducting fear (such as hell) it might increase the fear of death. Some cultures have other ways of making peace with the concept of death, for example the Mexican Dia de los Muertos presents death if a very feast-like way.
