What did people use to make tools in the Mesolithic Era?

    I believe the answer is: bones and stones

    The utilisation of metal as materials to made tools did not begin until the Neolithic period (approximately 2000 years after the Mesolithic period)

    So, bones from wild animals and stones are the only material that they know to be strong/hard enough to be made as tools.
