I think my biggest fear was the fear of the unknown. I like to know what's going on and what to expect. The only

thing I could rely on was my family. I knew they would always be available if I needed someone, but that didn't cut it.

Moving at the age of 14 meant starting high school not knowing anybody or anything about the area. It meant

adjusting to a new life right in the middle of my tough teen years. I think I was mainly afraid of not making any

friends or that my peers wouldn't like me.

Answer: This is a normal situation and many of us have been there.

    Explanation:

Human beings want to control everything and when we see that we have no control over some things we tend to experience fear and anxiety. When we do not know something we are afraid and it is normal.

Starting from scratch at any age is difficult, it is going through a process that you had done before and having to do it from the beginning can be a bit tiring, but the nice thing about starting from scratch is that you can learn things that you had not learned before.

So that things can flow and come out in the best possible way, the first thing is to eliminate those thoughts that can be as a barrier and that can prevent you from getting to know people. Our beliefs about how something will come out can hinder wonderful processes. If you think that you will not like others, you will reflect that and it will be more difficult for people to approach you. When your thoughts are driven by fear, that reflects.

The second is to open yourself to more opportunities. Do not be afraid if you have not made friends yet, that is something that comes naturally. It takes time to create good friendships, you need contact and talk to know interests.

Adolescence is a process that comes loaded with many changes that in some cases can be difficult for you. Think about the perception that others have about you and the way you are very present during these years. You will survive this whole process. Stay confident that everything will work out. Open your mind to the opportunity to meet new people and put aside those thoughts that prevent you.
