After learning more about what GCU is all about by reading the GCU doctrinal statement and Christian Identity and Heritage, how do you think GCU's Christian heritage makes the GCU academic experience different than at a non-faith-based university? What value will this difference add to your educational experience?

A significant reasons why I chose to come to GCU was because of the way of life, attitude and behavior, but also because of the way that the school integrates faith in every aspect of their learning. GCU's great heritage stands out because of their use of rooted on scripture. This belief system that has been openly stated gives students and staff a goal to strive for in their learning. The strong foundation in the doctrinal statement and even in just the foundational documents stands far above than any non-faith based university. Not that it is not a possibility to receive a great education from non-faith-based schools, it is just not being founded on the greatest cornerstone, Jesus Christ. It is stated in the One section of their foundation. A school of such is the best and a good ground for academics.
