    Yellow Hats, the newest of the schools of Tibetian Buddhism, was founded by Je Tsongkhapa. He was an admirer of the Kadampa teachings and promoted the Kadam School's emphasis on the Mahayana principle of compassion. The most influential figure is the Daiai Lama.
