What is the difference between the standards gap and knowledge gap?

    Answer: Knowledge gap is the difference between perceptions while standards gap is the difference between the perception and result.

    Explanation: In simple words, standards gap refers to the gap between standards an organisation sets with the perception of customer expectations and the actual performance results.

    On the other hand, knowledge gap can defined as the difference between the expectations that the customers have from the organisation and the perception and idea of customers expectations in the eyes of organisation.
