Civil servants: It is the role of the civil service to assist, with integrity, honesty, impartiality and objectivity, principal officials under the accountability system, in formulating their policies, in carrying out their decisions and in administering public services for which they are responsible.

Public servants: Public servants serve the Government of the day by supporting Ministers in: Developing and advising on policy options and draft legislation. Implementing the Government's decisions, policies and programs. Delivering services to the community.
