Behavior Analyst Certification Board or popularly known as BACB is a non for profit corporation that was established to achieve the professional credentialing needs for the behavior analyst.

A behavioral analyst is a person who studies an individual suffering from any behavioral disorders. They analyse behavioral changes and patterns which is affected by the changes in the environment and surroundings. They do research on the affect of behavior on motivation.

According to BACB, a behavioral analyst can change or modify the services or treatment when the ratio for the risk-benefit for modifying or discontinuing is lower when compared to the risk-benefit ratio for taking alternative actions.
