I believe the answer is: B. the capacity to solve problems, adapt to the environment, and learn from experience.

The level of intelligence would determine the processing speed inside our brain which would influence our capacity to solve the problems that exist in the environment.

High intelligence wouldn't guaranteed a success or higher understanding on specific subject since effor also play a huge role in this. But it would most likely influence how easy it is for the individual to learn new things.
