a ballot paper is ballot is a device used to cast votes in an election, and may be a piece of paper or a small ball used in secret voting.

    Explanation:

so its really just a paper used to write something on that cant be shared with others like (when voting for president or back in 5th grade choosing partners you would write your name on a paper and put it in a bucket to get chosen)

Answer:A ballot is a device used to cast votes in an election, and may be a piece of paper or a small ball used in secret voting. It was originally a small ball (see blackballing) used to record decisions made by voters. Each voter uses one ballot, and ballots are not shared.
