What did people believe about women due to their isolation at the home?

    People believed about women due to their isolation at the home that women were too weak to work outside of the home.

    That was a wrong belief but people used to think that way. The fact that women used to stay at home to be housewives, do house chores, and raise children, by no means signified that women were weak. They knew what they were capable of doing but accepted their role at home. When women started to work outside of the house they showed that they had the same capacities and intelligence of men.
