Depending on the military force and aggression of the government that put in place there would serious unrest and oppression. people would either stand up for what they believe in and overthrow the government or they would cower in fear of their government. if they conformed everyone would be the same and be able to be brainwashed into whatever the government wanted them to believe.

The impact would be little freedom. We would no longer be able to practice at whatever church we want, we would not be able to have the opinions we have, nor could we write what we wish to the public.
