A Raisin in The Sun is a TV-movie launched in 2008, directed by Kenny Leon. At the beginning of the movie, the music is slow but its tones create an ambience of doubt, at very first (maybe influenced by the night and the outside), but it changes and turns into something a little bit faster and with different tones - happier and that seem to bring hope. This way, the music also foreshadows the changes with these tone and pace switching: the family is expecting a check and they already have times for the money - uncertainty and desperation - and then, the money arrives - the softer music.

Since the movie has more events, the audience could understand the music (related to the life of the characters) also like a loop, where uncertainty and happiness are together and come and go.
