    The amendment that is quoted when it comes to gun control is the Second Amendment. This amendment was adopted in 1791. The amendment states that the people can own arms as it is necessary for the protection of the state and the " the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed."This is up to this day hotly debated topic in the United States.
