    Answer:Civil lawsuit

    Explanation:

    What is a civil lawsuit?

A civil lawsuit is a court case where by a plaintiff sues the defendant for the harm that has been done on them which was allegedly caused by the defendant.

If the plaintiff wins the case they will get the compensation usually paid as funds for that damage caused by the defendant.

Examples of civil lawsuit can range from a broken lease, sustained injuries, improper residential eviction and other many damage claims.

The difference of civil lawsuit to a criminal case is that in a criminal case a person faces the jail sentence because those are usual severe cases where as in civil lawsuit the harm done is paid for financially without facing the jail sentence.
