In the navigation rules what must give-way boats do

    It must keep clear of "stand-on" vessels. If you are a give-way boat, that means that you're supposed to mind your speed and allow the stand-on boat to pass you by. Similarly to how overtaking someone in a car is when you are the one being overtaken.
