    Uncertainty avoidance

    Explanation:

Uncertainty avoidance (UAI) is a cultural dimension under Hofstede's (Geert Hofstede) cultural dimensions theory. The Uncertainty avoidance index measures the level of a society's tolerance for ambiguity. Societies with high uncertainty avoidance index tend to have low tolerance for uncertainty and ambiguity and therefore apply stiff laws that are dictate truth and falsehood while societies with low uncertainty avoidance index have more tolerance for uncertainty/ambiguity as laws are more welcoming to different views and there is no clear truth and falsehood.
