    North Korea has an industrialized and highly centralized economy. Of the remaining socialist countries in the world with Cuba, with an economy entirely planned by the government. Despite economic problems, quality of life is improving and wages are steadily rising

    The government commands almost every part of the economy and directs all economic activity.
