Explanation:

According to the German psychologist Wilhelm Wundt, feelings can be built by a combination of one of each of the categories at the same time: a feeling can be composed by pleasure or displeasure in certain proportion; by tension or relaxation; or it can be composed by feelings of excitement or depression. This was further explained in detail in his edition of Physiological Psychology in 1893. However, this was not demonstrated in any kind of experiment and it's considered more as an empiric theory.
