Nationalism really brought soldiers into the fight, as well as alot of countries. People were so for their country that they almost wanted to go to war. Everyone thought that the war was great. Countries used propaganda to boost nationalism. When people were for their country, they would go fight for their country. This kept the war going, without soldiers, there could have been no war.
