    I am both better off.

    Yes I am a fast typist, I used it for her, yes she can do my laundry, an advantage for me, so it is beneficial, thou I typed her town paper fast, if she was to give it to someone else it would have cost her some cash, with that am better off, although she still does my laundry, and there is nothing special in doing my laundry compared to typing fast, based on the context of the question I am both better off.
