During the time when the men went to hunt (the paleolithic age) they migrated from place to place when they went back to the places that they had left they discovered trees, plants and food was growing so they realized, hey! we don't have to hunt we can just grow food! then later they realized that food grows best on fertile soil and that some foods grow better in different conditions then others

Early people grew food or crops in the fertile crescent and they scattered seeds on the land and rain came or they poured water or probably flooding came and the crops grew which became food
