To bludgeon those who peacefully exercise a first amendment right to protest to government against one of the most grievous of all modern oppressions which some of our states are inflicting on our citizens

The case is about the incorporation of freedom of Religio via due process with the fourteenth amendemnt, which makes the freedom of religion clause became applicable to all races and ethnicity within the United States territory.
