    Pope Julius II

    Explanation:

Pope Julius II, born Giuliano della Rovere, in 1443 was the Papal figure that commissioned Bramante to build a new basilica after demolishing the old saint Peter's Basilica that was built during the 4th Century by Constantine. Bramante came up with the first plan for the new church the pope required, in which he designed the church to have a Greek cross put inside a square with a big dome over the center.
