    Interest group tend to use social movement to gain support from the public and influence a certain legislation to be passed.

    Explanation:

    The main goal of an interest group is to influence the government to create a law that will be beneficial for their group.

    For example, There is an interest group called Sierra Club who fight for the perspiration of environment. To influence the government to pass law that preserve our ecosystem, they organize various marches, protest, and online education to persuade people to choose a government representatives that are advocating for the same goal.
