Episodic memories results in the formation of semantic memories.

    Explanation:

Episodic memory is a form of explicit memory in which an individual remembers vividly a memory or personal experience, it is often not the same with someone else's recollection of the same experience.

On the other hands, semantic memory which is also part of explicit memory, involves retaining general knowledge. For example such as the names of colors, seasons of weathers, the sounds of letters, the capitals of states, and other some other facts learned over the yesrs.

Hence, in this case, forgeting when and where you were when you learned this information and only remember the names of the seasons, is referred to as the forgetting of Episodic memories results in the formation of semantic memories.
