Urban areas have a lower life expectancy than those in the rural areas because they:

    1) have more likely a higher rate of crime and violence in its neighbourhood,

    2) have the presence of poverty-stricken population that possibly carry contagious diseases,

    3) have a heavier weight of stress and burden upon them.

People living in urban areas may lack proper health services when they’re from a lower economic status.
