Which would be more difficult, being a soldier during the American Revolution or being a soldier today? Explain your opinion.

Personally I feel that it would be more difficult today. Yes I understand the bad conditions of soldiers in the revolutionary war due to bad hygiene and etc. But taking into consideration, the soldiers today are likely fighting jihadists that want nothing to do with America and will pretty much do anything to kill their enemies, hence us.

Being a soldier during the American Revolution because, there were less weapons and little to no technology compared to today.
