The most influential source of self-efficacy is (a) Vicarious experiences

    Explanation:

Self-efficacy means to have belief in one's own ability. It refers to the ability of an individual to meet the challenges and to complete a task successfully. It is a synom to the word overall belief

An individual who is high on self-efficacy displays the following traits and behaviors:

A student who know that he/she is not good in a particular subject but he/she still believes that he/she has the ability to learn it well A man who has had bad luck with relationships, but he still retains a positive outlook on his ability to connect and socialize with others; An expectant mother is nervous about caring for a new born baby but is still confident that she will be able to manage things around A new graduate who has taken a high-profile, high-status job which she has never done before, but that she believes that she can succeed in it

    Vicarious experiences

Vicarious experience MEANS to observe the role models and then to emulate their behaviour

For Example: - When we have a positive role model who display a healthy level of self-efficacy, we are likely to absorb some of those positive qualities about the self.

Vicarious experiences can come from a wide range of sources, which includes parents, grandparents, our peer group, neighbors, aunts and uncles, older siblings, teachers, coaches, mentors, and counselors.
